Hello everyone! My name is Caitlin Dolan and I am the founder of Hope For A Future. I was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina where I danced competitively for Stepping Out Dance Studio, cheered for River Bluff High School and taught my sweet Sunday School Class of 3 year olds. I was a member of DECA at RBHS where I had the privilege to fundraise for The Yuda Bands Organization, along with my amazing DECA partner, and sent a sweet girl named Sibusiso to school in Zimbabwe. Working with this wonderful charity and learning all about non-profits made me realize I wanted to have my own someday. When I was 18, I moved just two hours from home to College of Charleston as a South Carolina Teaching Fellow majoring in Early Childhood Education. When not in class, you can usually find me either volunteering or working at Memminger Elementary School, where I teach at the aftercare program, Kaleidoscope. The first day I met these children, they stole my heart and I knew that I wanted to start something like Hope For A Future for them. There is nothing I love more than Jesus and children (and mango mochi) and I am so excited to make an impact in their lives! Thanks to the support of my friends, family and coworkers, my dreams are coming true!
